Danny Boulanger is the president, chief executive officer and founder of Segic. A visionary entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in information technology, he founded Segic in 2015 to modernize a group insurance industry that had become too fragmented and complex.
Under his leadership, more than $40 million has been invested to build the Segic model: an independent benefits orchestration infrastructure combining a technology platform, TPA/TPP services and a benefits Marketplace. Recognized for his strategic vision, his sense of innovation and his ability to mobilize an ecosystem, Danny positions Segic as a key player in the transformation of employee benefits in Canada.
VICE-PRESIDENT, CLIENT SUCCESS
Angelo Ciciotti is Vice-President, Client Success at Segic, where he oversees client services and IT operations. With solid expertise in client relationship management and information technology, he plays a key role in optimizing processes and continuously improving the client experience. His leadership fosters collaboration between technical and operational teams, ensuring smooth service delivery aligned with the needs of partners. Angelo actively contributes to Segic’s operational excellence.
VICE-PRESIDENT, PRODUCT
An actuary by training, Roger Grondin is Vice-President, Product at Segic, where he leads the development strategy of the technology platform. With deep expertise in group insurance, he is a pioneer of self-administration and fair insured value — approaches that promote more efficient, more personalized management of group programs. Roger is known for turning industry challenges into concrete solutions, placing innovation at the heart of the user experience. His leadership helps position Segic as a key player in the digital transformation of group programs in Canada.
AGILE PROJECT MANAGER
With more than fifteen years of experience in software development and project management within an insurtech company, John-Francis Lyons-McAlpin joins Segic as Agile Project Manager. Having held leadership roles such as Product Director and Director of Operations, he brings proven skills in leading teams, managing budgets and delivering projects in an agile environment, along with a deep understanding of the insurance industry. At Segic, he oversees development projects to ensure efficient and innovative processes and contributes to business analysis initiatives that drive continuous improvement and support strategic objectives at Segic.
